Examples of complaints

Below you will find examples of complaints that led to a positive outcome following an investigation conducted by the Commissioner of Official Languages. Each example, listed by part of the Official Languages Act and by year, includes a short description of the situation and a summary of the outcome. If a complaint has been referenced in our annual report, a link to a more detailed version of the complaint is provided. All complaints are confidential. Any names appearing in these examples are used with the permission of the parties involved.
